As you may be aware the EU TPD rules come in to effect on the 19th May 2017. This means a lot of changes for the vaping industry and vapers. Below are the main changes in brief.
1: Some prices will need to increase due to extra costs needed to be TPD compliant. This will mainly effect our e-liquids. The wholesale prices have increased due to TPD costs.
2: Eliquids can now only be sold in 10ml bottles. Eliquids now need TPD compliant labelling and packaging,TPD compliant e-liquids will have different packaging. The bottle and packaging will contain Nicotine warnings and other information. The regulations introduce requirements for producers of e-cigarettes and refill containers. Producers must submit information about their products to MHRA through a European Common Entry Gate (EU-CEG) notification portal.
3: Clearomisers and tanks can no longer hold more than 2ml. There are also other factors to consider such a childproof, leak proof etc.. but these are a little vague at the moment.
